Show of your australorp chicks, pullets, cockerels, hens and even roosters!e
Splash Australorp rooster named Flash with Splash, Blue, and Black Australorp hens.
This is Ally
and Darth Layer! I'm new to Black Austrolorps, is there anything special I should know?
Both Ally and Darth Layer look like my blue colored ones did as chicks. The Black ones are darker.
Why? The cream color? Or it could be my kindle , it takes awful pictures.
No, they do look greyish to me instead of black in your picture. The ones that look a greyish color instead of a black are blues.
This was from my New Years Day 2017 hatch. They are all Australorps. There are 7 here in this pic, 3 are blues, and 4 are splash. The blues can be in various shades, from dark blue to light blue. I have more chicks due to hatch next week.
Duh!! Never realized Australorps came in anything but Black. Glad I stopped in here.
Yes, Australorps come in Black/Blue/ and Splash (B/B/S).
Oh OK, I will post a better picture today of them!
