My Cayuga’s had that for exactly one day and a half. They come over and for this kind of attention once in a while. The other ducks don’t but these love a good headmasage and cuddle. My Cayuga’s are super sweet.How lovely !wish my cayuga's / campbell nero's loved a cuddle. Mine are at what I think someone referred to earlier on as 'the axe murderer' stage......
Mine must have a drama queen gene - maybe its the KC In them ?! As soon as one person goes in the spare room you can hear the shrieking from the garden !! To be fair - we don't have double glazing.... They charge round in their brooder in a huddle with the biggest duck (nibbler) in the middle. I can watch ducklings for hours

. It was 10pm 
so a little drama is In the genes of mine too!That made me laaaaaaaugh !! Once we catch one and scratch them behind the wing or on the back of the neck, they do stop screaming blue murder - just need to get past that part ! Once you put them back in the brooder, they round the others up and start the charge / shrieking again !! I hope they come round to be more like yours !maybe they will turn around, mine just got to the backdoor quack quack quacking their hart out. I rushed to the back because it did sound serious... you know what they want? That I put them to bed
