Yes, that was the main reason I decided to switch my flock over to them and Ameraucanas. I am tired of dealing with frostbitten cockerels and poor doers.

Speaking of the Ameraucanas, here are some images of the six Silvers I have recently added to my flock:

They are not perfect and have evidence of poor breeding but I have two hens (they were being shy around picture time, so they aren't there) that I believe will make a good start. I'm just amazed I was able to find Silvers locally.
