Show Off Your Coops!

these are all so amazing!!!

Here's ours - DH based it on the Playhouse Coop. We still have to do the roof (this weekend, we hope, but the chickens are safe. He's doing an overhang over the windows.

We used all recycled/free materials so far!!! (except for the hardware cloth)

Everyone builds such nice coops and pens on BYC. So many talented people and smart about where to put everything.

I start out with a summer home and then have to eventually make it winter worthy. So right now I have a few airy pens like this because it is still in the 70's at night here..........

But I also have a few coops for my free ranging flocks of over a hundred chickens...........

But I am constantly changing and rearranging the coops with new ideas that will work best for my chickens and me.

My 3 coops were all made of recycled materials. Including the wire. One is 10x10,the other 4x7,& the other 3x4. I have $0 invested in coops.

This is our coop. We designed it to complement our back yard, and it matches our house in color

The bottom door on the left is for storage, and the top left door is for getting eggs.
