Show off your EE's and EE mixes!!

This is Agnes a few weeks ago when she was 13 weeks old--getting that fluffy muff and beard that is so darn cute! I love her color!
Does anyone know what they cross to get this color? I notice its fairly common compared to other colors. I wonder if they are a specific "recipe" the hatcheries use?

I have about 20 EE pullets of various colors. Here are some of my girls. I simply love the fact that EE come in so many great colors.

My favorite color is what I call blue wheaten. I think other people call this same color Cinnamon. Not sure of the correct color name. Perhaps there is no name for the color since the ee are not standardized. I would love to find a "Blue Wheaten" Ameraucana roo at some point to add to my flock.

The girsl in these pics range in age from 3 -6 months.

This girl doesn't have a name yet. She is quite sassy, and seems the most brave, and curious about me. I swear, she looks at me like she wants to start up a conversation.

Here is Lucy! I have another lady named Falco, but she is always under foot so it is hard to get a picture of her. And it's been raining

I am hoping to add some amercaunas and more EE to the flock this spring! As well as a marans and some cochins. These critters are so fun to collect, and to care for!

This photo doesn't do them justice, but on the left is Georgia O'Keefe and on the right Martha Stewart. They are sisters and lay the same shade of aqua egg (and have the same slate legs).

I just love EEs... wish we could expand our flock and just have a variety of shades! Xena is absolutely gorgeous. I also really like the light grey and cream colored EEs. Love the pea combs, tails, and wild look.
