Not sure what breed my newly rescued ducks are, but suspect they might be White Layers. They weigh less than 4 pounds each, and are hilarious! They each give me one egg a day - one is green, one is white. They are a riot, and march around like they own the place.

My Blue Swedish, Willow

Piper is the girl in the front. She's a Jumbo Pekin/Golden Layer cross. The duck behind Piper is Quicksand. She's a Runner/Black Swedish cross.

This girl doesn't have a name yet. I don't know who her mother is, but I believe her father is my Buff Orpington drake because she has just a bit of buff coloring on that one wing. That's Piper in the background.

Thanks! I love my Blue Swedish girl! She is super friendly and definitely one of my favorite ducks.

Another one of Quicksand's daughters. She also doesn't have a name. This isn't the greatest pic, but it's the best I have right now. She's pretty nervous around people so getting pictures of her isn't very easy.

@chickens really How do you rescue all those ducks, because I live in maine, and I want to maybe rescue ducks.

My Friends give out my Name and number...My one friend runs a rescue also...Contact local livestock rescues they love the help....I also sell them to good homes and what I sell them for is to cover feed and my time caring and rehabbing them...I also have an open door policy that for any reason they can be returned....Only twice have they come back.....

I never take in Chickens though...Too much disease transfer .....I rescue Dogs and Kittens too but not all that often.....
