Anyone have suggestions on breeds to start breeding I have some greys and lacy Roundheads and crosses between but I like to get a few more bloodlines
I was thinking hatch or kelso or maybe blue booms
Because if you mix a blue with a grey it sometimes will come out smoke colored and that looks awsome and blues are super game so are greys
And I have a friend who has some all white roosters I don't know what they are I've only seen some poor quality photos but I think he said white hackle or somthing idk I'm new to this.

Oh and can anyone tell me what my profile picture is my cousin said he was pea suit but I have never heard of such a thing - he was a retired fighter (that's where his eye went) and was one of joy favorite birds (darn coyotes)
Can't go wrong with a good Kelso. Or a good hatch as a base. And yeah the blue grey cross does produce some fine looking fowl. And just FYI we haven't always been like this it only ramped up in the last few days. It'll calm down I suppose just gotta wait and see lol.

Birds you post and appear to have way too much oriental for my taste which is why something I like does not tickle your fancy. Mine are something different and they have a linkage to me that yours will never have because yours were a product of someone else labor. You could loose everything you have tonight and simply go out and by more from the same breeders get back to where you are know. You also invest heavily in the pretty pictures while I invest a great deal me more in recording behavior. I sadly admit to failing miserably in your approach that is like trying to get a pretty high stepping human model in that special lip puckering bikini shot like you do with your high station birds.

Wait till spring and In will show pictures of cocks, hens, stags and hens used in my breeding efforts. They will surely bore with their red coloration and low station but they will be evidence for a concerted breeding effort.
Most of my birds are med-high stationed, they just like to stand proud. I do like high stationed birds though.
One of my models....

I am doing my part to help the local economy with the purchase of straw. I have already gone through so many bales it's ridiculous. Gotta totally clean out pens yet again. Too much rain lately.

Ima have to get me some soon. Also gonna get a load of sandy clay for the pens. Springs in its way and our rainy season and I'm not getting caught like I did last spring.
