Thais from Ideal? This I gotta see when they grow to at least 7 months old..
illia, did you notice some of those Thai have feathered shanks?
There is a line of feather legged thais if i remember, but I'm not saying the shanks will be completely covered. And though Las says they don't, i think i remember hearing from someone who had them that the leg feathers will go away as the chicks begin aging. I doubt that any hatchery would have this though, and i would bet my money it is due to a cross.

Even if you show them they dub the combs and trimming the sharp ends off the spurs is just common sense to avoid accidental injuries to the hens. I've just come back from sitting in a chair in my game pen feeding my rooster and his ladies by hand. He has never even attempted to be aggressive toward me or my kids. But if another rooster comes into his sight through the fence - He gets really military!! LOL
