Just wanted to update. My hens comb grew huge and turned red. I re sent her pic to the hatchery and they said she is a black old english game. Seems more believable to me. I never thought she looked like the Sumatra. What do you guys think?

I have an American game very similar... face isnt as dark.

She is 19 weeks so I assume still changing some. Especially since her comb and wattles went from black to red. They are still changing. Maybe she will be laying soon.

Only ones I've had like that were raised by someone else (most likely in a pen)...

All my games are raised free range, and they learn respect and proper courting. Some rape happens but not anymore than my RIR rooster.
