I am not disagreeing, but he sure does not look like any Brown Red cockerels I can find a picture of. His color pattern is so different, just black and that dark blood red.

He is at the least split for Brown-red(gold birchen) and BBR (e+ wildtype or gold/red duckwing)50/50%

I'm not an expert ,,,,,I think.... looks like he has a green shine in his black feathers , a good bar on his wing , leg color is right cant see eye color ...color is good ......he needs to stand up and strut to say about type I like him he is nice
