I had about 5 laying bbreds oeg hens and not a single one went broody. I want to say it was my fault for switching them from pen to pen. Oh well maybe I'll have better luck next season.

I ordered from nature's hatchery but they called me minutes later saying they are sold out for now.

I cant wait till they have them,in march I will order again. They are selling me a pair of 4week old blue oe bantams for$51 shipped.Some one just stole me silver duck wing 2 days ago! so I need to replenish the void with something nice.

My g'father had some games that the roosters looked like a BBR but had black neck feathers. Is there a strain that looks like that or just a color abboration?
