They are really sharp Gamelife! I notice the rosecomb on the cockerel. Is that usual for that line of Hatch? He should be easy to dub

They are pea combed. I've heard of some Leiper Hatches coming straight combed once in awhile
but generally they are a pea combed bird, never rose combed.

As always gamelife awesome Leipers

I sure like the dark reds, any new pics of the Clarets?

there are many AG strains that have the pea type comb sorta crisscross looking singleXpea this is due to the oriental blood instilled in so many of the AGs backgrounds.

I'll get some up soon. Most of the Clarets I have are still fairly young. I have a couple
going through a molt right now that I'm really impressed with. Can't wait for them to feather out.

I have two lines of Clarets. One is direct from "Its gametime gamefarm"..very beautiful dark red, white legged birds.
The other line came direct from "Pinnon Hatch Farms" which come yellow legged. Most of the chicks produced this year
were an infusion of both lines although I did order some more day old Claret chicks from Pinnon Hatch farms. Lots of culling.
Both lines are Madigin Clarets.

Quick question for gamefowl peeps, could you use blinders on stags for awhile instead of tying out, penning etc. Why or why not?
