At least 1.5 yrs. per generation and a lot of culling. IMO if you just breed what's there you're gonna end up with a lot of useless birds. Especially in the gamefowl world.

As soon as the get out the hands of a good / recognized keeper of gamefowl, they are dead to breed anyway. Not too many folks are likely to invest in birds that are not acquired from somebody else that is reputable.

Finally got around to gettin shots of the new girls! They are so dog gone skiddish!
This is the one that isn't very game. I think she carried her tail low, From the way her other tail feathers look. Ideas on breed/color?

This one has a peacomb. this should be the mother of one of the chicks I got with them.
