That is the thing about owning games... you're always building another pen lol

hey!
i have had game hens for awhile but just recently got a stag. i was concerened about my polish roo and my dd little chabo roo when i decided to release him into the population. My polish roo never paid him no mind but the chabo picked at him thru fence. so when i released him the polish roo had no problem, but the chabo got his butt whipping and i moved him to a smaller pen. he immediatley took over like a rock star with all his groupies. I was amazed how my hens just grouped around him like no roo ive ever had. Im impressed with him and i have no fear that he would hurt my kids like some other domestic breed roos
he is a cross (rounhead, kelso, hatch) and is an awsome site to watch

A true game rooster will not tolerate another male in the pen with him. It may have not happened yet, due to his young age, but if he is a game, he will end up killing your other rooster eventually. Just a heads up.

I've raised games and polish together in the brood pen before and the game roosters treat the Polish roosters like uppity hens a peck here or there rarely a kick but the Polish will back down and act submissive so quickly that they don't register as a threat, maybe not even as a rooster. However if your Polish were to try to breed a hen in the pen with the game he'd definately count as a threat and be in trouble so it may be safer for all concerned to move him out.
