Hen will not follow him up into tree? Mine would pound him just for getting on ground within 50 of brood.

So the past week has been summertime after breeding liquidation for me and I gifted around 25 birds from a few mo. Old to 1.5yrs. Old and no culls just not needed from specific breeding programs and it feels good to be able to maybe get someone ( most went to experienced people but some just starting out ) involved in fowl that may not know who to go to or who to trust not to get trash birds. Something they can actually raise and be proud of and maybe turn another onto the american games cause we all know society is trying to let them die off. Keep the tradition of the american gamecock pridefully

Speaking of nutritional value I've been giving my chicks wheat germ with they're medicated food it seems to be working out well

Smart fellow only grabs the newest hatchlings who wander outside the protection of the coop where their mama's are kept. Or the incubator hatched chicks that I was supposed to be watching.
