I have a comb question. What do you call it when a rooster has no comb (or flat comb)? I had a breed of rooster in the Amazon that had no comb at all. The comb was just a flat slightly rounded red thing on the top of their head. What kind of comb do you call that?

The only time I've had hawk problems was when I had bantam chickens and when ever I have baby chickens running around. The mom hen or the rooster chase the hawks away though.

I had game hens that have put against hawks. That is an another reason I like spurred hens

No comb at all? Born that way or it could have gotten torn off. Maybe a pea comb or walnut. Alot of my hens have practically no comb, but very small peacomb....the stags though all have visible, even if pea.
