I don't care what the Standard calls it, I think it is eye popping beautiful! When vistors see my rooster they are blown away. I have standing orders for every cockerel I produce from him. He may not win shows, but he is a head turner.

My game mix hen has a spot like that on her wings, though it's hard to see unless she's in direct sunlight. Her tail is dark with a green sheed to it. I'm not sure if it's blue or purple on her wings, but I think it's pretty!

What color are the parents, BBred, Duckwing, Brown Red or Wheaten?.

So sorry to hear that. Time for Mr. Raccoon to die.  I trap the ones around here with a box trap and corn.  My biggest problem around here is Hawks and Owls.  They took 60 full grown free range Games last year.  Nothing I can do about them so I had to pen all my birds up.

We trapped him-he's gone, trap is set for another one. Only had 1 AG hen killed by a hawk that we know of but have seen them trying a few times. Had an owl that was knocking chickens out of the trees in our backyard everynight it seemed like it but didn't get them. We have lost several that just disappeared so could be either
