We put them on teepees so we can have lots of roosters together and the can't fight with each other!Wow 19 stags is quite the collection... I only have 4 stags coming of age this year and I want to keep all 4 of them. Does anyone else have the problem of trying to keep too many chickens?
My wife is very irratated with me because of my chickens roaming the backyard and neighbors yard, pooping all over the place. I only have 1/2 acre property, so I think its not because I have too many chickens, its that I dont have enough land!
All I do is move the teepee and mow in front of the chord, then move it back then do behind. They don't flip out too much just avoid the mower, they get used to the leash pretty fast too. This way all the hens and stags can free range, mowing is pretty easy on themJust wondering hows cutting grass around them? Mine are all in hoop pens with the exception of 2 and will tolerate a lawnmower but I think if mine were on cords they would flip out when I tried to mow in their space.
