The small ones were all feathered. The breast was also a lot smaller and head not so large relative to size of body. Naked, the dinosuar would have same problem the naked chicken has. It could not keep its body temperature up when is got cold at night.

yea but still it would be cool but it would take a decade or more to get right because several breeds would need to be found and used then selectively bred until they bred true so ill just still with my hobby pet projects for now

Have you guys seen Jack Horners chicken dinosaur he is trying to genetically engineered? I think he only allowed it to develop in the shell but never let it hatch. At least that what he tells the ethics commision.

I suspect very strongly someone / some company will develop such birds and market them as pets. I would base it on American Games. Value to agriculture is not apparent to me.

We already have them. They simply lack tail, claws and teeth. Behavior is probably pretty close to that of similar sized theropods except our games can fly and likely cannot run as fast as old fashioned dinos.

Funny but its a bummer the ammendment didnt pass.

The same could be said for human boxers/fighters... its barbaric to pay humans to fight for entertainment, but its a victimless crime if all the parties involved consent. I was a kickboxer for years and have no regrets on the matter. I started as a kid... what is worse; 10 year old boys boxing or chickens boxing? If I didnt want to fight I could have run (never happened), same could be said for chickens.
