That sounds perfect. That's what I'll do. Now I just have to figure out where to buy small enough tarps.

You might have the possibility of making long legged, henny feathered Sebright.Haha I gotta get pics of my modern x gold sebright chicks they look wild! They have the modern long legs hard body and high station plus the straight comb but the legs are thicker than moderns and are slate color legs with black eyes and gold hatched markings they are pretty coolI'm most happy about the legs and straight comb though![]()
sounds good I have a harbor freight not too far away. I have to drop a few roosters off to a guy nearby so I'll check it out this weekend. Thanks. I also learned that cut tarps don't lastI got mine from harbor freight tools for about 3.00 ea. if there's one close to u or order from their website. I got 5'x7'' and they fit perfect without trimming so they keep the finished ends which I learned early on cut up tarps don't last long. And I got the clasps off e-bay right now I'm using plastic but I would advise try to find metal ones. The plastic ones only last a few months
I was thinking the same thing but the more they mature the less I'm seeing possible lacing its more wildesk hatch marks still pretty cool I may take them back to black moderns or maybe sumatra also I just got a barred and a black shamo x malay chicks and one malay roo so I'm thinking malay over barred shamo x malay and the black cross to my black moderns... See the reason I'm crossing shamo, malay and modern is for not only leg and neck but cushion comb I need all three but in a sleek tight feathered bird for another future crossing project I have in the worksYou might have the possibility of making long legged, henny feathered Sebright. They could be some sharp looking fowl!
thanks. If I may ask, what are the dimensions of the run part of your pens. They look like a good size for broody hens. Seems like I could throw a hen in one of those when one of a trio goes broodyThose are some beautiful birds. The black eyes make them that much more striking
