Yeah if you are anything like me you can trace back the parentage of each bird many generations. I have been rasing gamefowl for about 8 years and I take pride in every aspect of breeding, feeding and keeping. And I never want to sell any of them Lol. anyone else have this problem?

Yeah I going to a huge chicken auction this weekend and I don't want to take any thing to sell. They have a poultry auction in Bath NY in the fall and spring

Have a lot better chance infecting your flock by going to an auction than finding a breeder. The store where I get feed has a meet the first sat. Of every month. If I need feed then I go to my backup store u never know what peddlers are bringing around

Any new poultry I acquire goes in its own chicken tractor to quarantine. I do that if they came from a breeder or auction.

Good point... There is a breeder by my house and to get on the property you have to walk your shoes thru a bath of bleach water.
