I've been told that one of the hurdles to APA acceptance is that the AGFS includes so many leg colors and of course there are both pea combed and straight combed varieties.... but I would miss the good ole green legged hatch

A big chunk of my hens look like a Hatch. This hen is one I am breeding back to for three generations.

I have tried to show her offspring a couple of times. Too much yellow in hackles of stags / cocks and most of her pullets run too light in base color. I will still take some in to annoy judges. Bunch of sissies to much into color.
