I have a small flock of pure law grey game and a trio I raised from them. Should have lots of eggs this spring if anyone interested in them.

I was taught other than greys to have a hatch line for a base for battle crosses. Taught they were good rush hard hitting all over the comp. But lacked judgement and timing. That's where the cross came in.My current birds are consistent with what we had back in the 1970's and before. I would not call my Hatch but even back then they were frequently referred to as Hatch looking although my grandfather was quick to say looks can be deceiving even though some Hatch figured into their development quite a while before my time. I come away with thinking that Hatch are simply the base model for American Games that are good sound birds if you are not into the eye candy aspect of games..
