I keep mine in Pens or free range. I tried tethering (not shoe string lol) and it didn't work very well for me personally. But it does work well for some people.

He is dubbed, rosecomb is thick though. I dub after schooling and usually before shipping. Young stags that have come in early I just take their lobes and wattles if I am going to put them out.
