Stunning birds...

Cut a golfball size hole in a towel or old tshirt put roosters head through and use sharp scissors. After cold water to slow bleeding and then coffee grounds. The coffee also speeds recovery. Make sure to tie feet and wrap wings with tshirt or towel to prevent them from beating you.hope this helps.

Thanks! I've never heard of using coffee grounds to stop bleeding. Does it work better then corn starch/flour?

To stop bleeding after being dubbed I've heard to use flour, or corn starch, or a feather (what my grandfather used), and now coffee grounds among tons of other suggested things. What I found works the best is to get the bird out of your hands and back on a roost/in a cage, etc., as fast as you can after a dub job, so that he can regain his composure and alleviate his stress. That will stop the bleeding faster than any of the remedies I have seen or heard of.
