Only my red quill line, I was trying to get it right, but I was told to go a new directionHaven't you been breeding them for 7yrs give or take?
What don't you like about them? They look like nice birds.Only my red quill line, I was trying to get it right, but I was told to go a new direction
Nothing is wrong with my red quill line. I just want to push them over the top. And a good friend of mine let me get his war horse line, his mel sims black line, and his black mcrae line. Anyone can breed straight with a pair and do go, but I want to come up with my own line insteadWhat don't you like about them? They look like nice birds.
Well said! I like games because they are bred for performance. I also like all the off colors found in games, but it all should go back to performance.Breed toward performance, health and temper an ya usually can't go wrong there. Looks and names can't get it done and I'm just not talking toward you or anyone in general, but if you can't cull hard you'll never get anywhere but going backwards. You can have the best stock in the world but that doesn't mean you'll treat, cull and handle them the same as the breeder you got them from.
Everyone has their own traits they like and dislike whatever floats your boat, but they Better be game or ya might as well cull them all.
