I pour warm water in them too usually but when they’re frozen solid like they were it wouldn’t help much and only make it worse for tomorrow.I pour a bit or warm water in an smack em on the ground an usually the better part of the ice comes out. Don't over due the hand work focus on flys it will build way better endurance and builds wings and other muscles at the same time (A free range stag is usually alot better shape than a penned stag they fly and keep busy all day). Start out at 5ft an work up to around 8-10ft+ do not throw them toward it once they are used to the exercise they will fly to the pole themselves. Make sure they get a few days of rest after hard work outs feed in cups then what I like to do is after a few days get them scratching in deep straw keeps them busy and them legs working. When I mess with a few they get rotated from pens to cords, to pens, to fly pen, to cords then to a different pen than they started out in with plenty of straw and water.
Sorry I’ve been waiting to use that. HahaLmao best of luck with that.
