I already set and hatched eggs, most from my miniature mug, I cant find a miniature rooster so i'm hoping to get a couple good males to choose from that are a little smaller and breed one back to her and get the size down even more. / 14 set, 14 hatched, culled one today

usually bright yellow, sometimes have some chipmunk pattern showing through.

thats what i was guessing, I think she threw three greys then. three of her chicks are yellow with 3 lines down the back and 2 dots on the head, the rest are solid black or dark brown

I don't incubate I let the hens do it.

Yep it’s about 20 here with wind. I’ve got hens laying but way too cold to mess with.

Same plus I just set up my breeding pens not long ago, I coulda hatched some yard hatches but I like to know where the good stuffs coming from lol.

this was my first time incubating, I was gifted an incubator and thought i would give it a go. I'm going to let them do there own thing naturally as well

I'm not against it so don't take that the wrong way I just suck at it and i like watching the hen an biddies.

I wish I had the hens to do it. I'm really just getting started in games. While I have raised some from time to time over the past o say 20 years and have had many friends that have raised them and still do. I'm just now getting around to increasing my rooster population.
