I don't incubate I let the hens do it.
I incubate only when I have to. The hens will do okay even in surprisingly cold weather, provided they are protected. Some years we have had some real cold spells, like this week and they trooper on. It takes more effort on my part to pick up eggs until they are ready to set.
 
That they may as we've been down to like -6 or more plus 40mph winds and I've only lost one penned bird all pullets an hens did great. I just don't have any broody that I'm breeding yet and egg laying is hit and miss right now.
