I’ve dubbed the wattles off of a white rock rooster years ago that got frostbite on them. They started to get infected. It’s easier and better for the bird to just cut them off.

No the only hen that I’ve had with a big comb and wattles was an Ancona and she never had any issues with frostbite.

Because I have a buddy that complains worse than any woman that the DMM was upside down, and my family is hatching these for me so just in case I redone that one egg so their wasn't any confusion.

And while we was dropping them eggs off my step dad gave my boy a few rides on his tractor. He sure liked that.

My son makes it up the steps with about 50% of the eggs he starts out with. Lol

My girl does ok with the eggs but ya have to watch her or she'd do the same thing skipping around with an unknown source of energy.
