i have a grey/ bates albany cros roo. and 3 hens. one hen is running wild in my back yard, got to get ahold of her some how, just don't know how. here is the roo.
hen number 1. i realy don't know what she is but she is pure not crossed, i was told. maybe someone can tell me what she is.
hen number 2 and 3 look like the next one. they are green leg hatch. i was told that is what they are. i know where they come from they raise hatch, radio, greys and kelso.
These pics are great - Makes me want more more more chickens even though winter is coming and it's time to stop collecting chickens until spring!! LOL I'm planning on trying to get a couple of varieties of games next year and also crossing some game roosters onto some australorp and black sex link and maybe RI hens to make me some freeranging layers. I gave my neighbor a game hen a few years ago and she has raised some awesome little hens with her and a Large type mixed Rooster. They lay a huge egg and lots of them and set and protect the chicks just like a game hen. the original old hen will fight anything over her chicks and very rarely has lost any even though she free ranges.
Ohh i emailed this to my dad and he's going to be buying a ton of hatching eggs now! He loves OEG and we only have 4 breeds, Grey, Blue, Hatch Kelso, Yellow leg hatch, oh thats more then 4 but oh well. Nice Birds everyone! And i love your dubbing job CUDA
