i use nest boxes, but he has non. actually checking on them tonite, one of his has taken a nest box from a low ranking game of mine (funny as she is blue slate, and supposed great blood). course they did seem to have gotten more of her eggs, as found new one that was suddenly cracked, but not eaten (good progress, or think they just got full finally?). spanish black was beaten up bad seeming, and off her nest, but no obvious messed up eggs seen.
