Gamelife,
I think so. Kong, the manager (as I understand) of the beautiful Xyooj Aviaries here in NC and a very devoted Thai breeder, thinks him to be a Burmese X Thai. He's definitely not purebred, but he is purely Oriental game, if that makes sense

The breeder believes him to be a cross between Thai and Burmese, this is not for certain.
I would not buy him unless you just wanted the oriental look.
If you wanted pure breeds I would not mess with him

Awesome! What breeds did you cross to make him?

he is Sumatra x shamos
his body shape is more like a aseel
with longer legs

Well, my goal currently is not necessarily to have purebreds, but to have pure Orientals, if that makes sense. I need experience breeding Orientals, and according to the advice of Gallorojo (and I think also GotGame), I should start with something that is truly Oriental and just experiment to get practice in breeding before I graduate to higher levels. As long as my cock is a pure Oriental and not some poor hatchery imitation, I'm fine with him.

What I would like to do is practice breeding colors. For instance, I'd like to get a Silver Duckwing Oriental hen to go with my cock, or an Oriental Wheaten hen to go with him. With the former, I could practice maintaining and improving the Silver Duckwing color, while with the latter I could work with the Golden Duckwing color.
I don't think he is, but if for some reason I discover that my cock has some soft feathers instead of the required hard-feathers, I will probably either cross him with some American Game hens or just start over with my Orientals.
