Holy cow! Hutch looks awesome! I wouldn't recognize him from looking at his first and last pics. You've done wonders with him. Lennon looks like a lovely hunter, and Baby Huey is striking. Congrats on living your dream.......again! As a horse crazy girl who grew into a horse crazy woman, I know how wonderful it is to get to enjoy them all over again. Great job and thanks for sharing your beautiful photos

Here is my sweetie boy, Little Rock. He was 5 when I bought him for trailriding. His registered name is Rock's One and Only and he is a Spotted Saddle Horse. He is a real character! You cant leave a 20 oz plastic bottle of soda close to him, he will pick it up, raise his head up and drink it! Our first real trail ride was in Alabama at Faye Whittemore Farms for a 'Best of America by Horseback' trail ride. I had owned him 6 weeks...I was scared to death but he did great! I was sooo proud of him and I still am. I also have a QH mare that is also a paint and they look so good together! My DH rides her. I love riding with my friends and could post wads of pictures...but cant here. If you want to see more pics of horses and you are into horses at all, especially trailriding, I can send a website address to anyone who is interested. I would do it here, but I don't know if it is allowed.

Here is a pic of my mare, Summer Rain...she is the same colors as Little Rock but she is mostly white where Little Rock has color.

The last pic is of a Belgian named Bill my DH bought while I was at work one day...he had dreams of buying a wagon, etc. We did take driving lessons, which were a lot of fun, but decided the whole wagon/harness/3 horse slant trailer we would have needed to transport him was just out of our budget. I sold him to a farrier who couldn't ride anymore due to his back, he wanted to get a wagon and drive, so Mr. Bill went with him to Georgia.

This is my paint Jazz. And behind him is my shetland pony Patches. We rescued Patches this past summer. Her feet had grown to look like Dutch shoes. She couldn't walk on her hooves. We paid a dollar fifty for her. Girl wanted a dollar and we paid her an extra 50 cents

My 4 year old rides her in parades.

In my defense, Hutchie cannot physically go faster than 5 mph

I know... I really should have a helmet. The horses just got here so quick and we should've been more prepared. We started wearing the kid's bicycle helmets and did get helmets for Christmas presents this year... so, we're set for Spring.

Patty, the last horse you posted... the chestnut with blaze and flaxen mane and tail... I want to say halflinger but, those furry fetlocks are way furry and she looks too big? Gypsey Vanner? sure is beautiful..

And, ChickenLady, I have a soft spot for belgians.. so sweet and gentle. I've always thought about having one some day. My kids are just so small, Im very concerned about tiny toes... I did take a couple for test drives this summer. One I had to beat to trot and the other was a bit much for me... though I took her for a 2 hour trail ride. I couldn't believe her stamina!! I thought being that big, she would've been done long before.. I know I was

The trot was really bumpy too... I wonder if all drafts have that bumpy trot or if there are some cadillacs out there
