Winter LOVES going on adventures in our backyard with her momma, Palmer!

And, her feathers are almost completely white now! Everyone who said they thought she would be a white Call was right! She sure is! And, I'm so happy! She is so beautiful!

I am stunned by how cute Winter is. Do u know what this does to me? I would love to hold her and kiss her. Palmer, too. She is a precious child.

Ok, so two emus now! Another one hatched today. He/she is in the brooder now. The older one (I think I Am going to name her kayala. Pronounced kye yah la.) she has almost got walking down. We walked around the aviary for about 10 min. It was solo cute to see her peck at flies and then the ducks and then my toes once inside.

I need diapers. They are about 2 months old. Is there anything I can make and put on my ducks until I got a diaper harness. I tried to make one out of a sock, but my ducks are to big. My girl was very unhappy and tore my arm up!!!
