That is funny. An emu compared to my pygmy ducks. And the interesting thing is, after seeing her I have been giving it some thought. I know I'd fall in love with a "tiny, silly squishy thing."

Twice now - as I'm changing Winter's diaper to my surprise, especially the first time, I've found an egg all nice and snug in it! Lol

That's cute but it can't be comfortable to waddle around with an egg in her chonies like that!

I went and watched some online videos of them. They are sooo sweet and very interactive. I do have the room but convincing my landlord would be an issue.

Oh my word. TeehheeEeeeeee!!!!! What is she doing? She is on top of an open book, standing on the pages with her webs. She is a tiny Call duck girlish bird and I am in love with her. That is a super cute and amusing picture.

As tempting as that would be, we both work so he would be alone during the day

so we would have to let him play with the other ducks during the day. If we kidnapped him every day and stuck a diaper on him and brought him in for the night, the other ducks would all make fun of him and he would be sad. So we will just have to enjoy him in the yard and on his occasional duck of the day adventure.

I spend a lot of time on the road too, and have fantasized about taking Entie on the road in a dog crate. She would be the best for that, but the whole time I had to work, she would be quacking in a hotel room so probably not a good idea either.

You should diaper all of your ducks and make a kitty/dog/duck door for them!!

I don't like the idea of ducks making fun of Tevye & him being sad...

but that did make me laugh to think of him pouting his cute little bill face.
