OK, this is so AWESOME.  Zorro's baby burd in a house.  I am so in love with this theme.  Look at baby on second floor of house.  His/her webs on the tiny floor and just sitting quietly in room of small house.  A Tiny House duckling.  Tiny Houses are THE NEXT BIG THING.

That is a lot of burd activity you've had.  I am so glad that Julie's brood all are still with her.  And despite her objections I am glad you kept everyone safe.  I love how you are so devoted to your precious ducks.  And the goings ons are never ending.  It is better than the krap on TV.  

I'm sorry about the loss of one of Zorro's.  I hate hearing when that happens.  And you had to keep her and hers in safe.  And then Donsje.  I hope her eye heals up nicely.  Again, I am glad she is safe.  Please do keep us posted on her eye's status.  I want her to fully recover.

It is really interesting but with all of you guys and your ducks I really become attached to them.  I am always glad to read of solutions you come up with to keep them safe.  Thank you.

Who throws out a nice duckling house like that? People are crazy!

Julie visited again with all the ducklings They demand food constantly and they chase away other ducks. There is another duck mom with 2 ducklings and one of them was limping but he got so upset when I caught him I put him back with his mother. I didn't feel anything weird on his leg so I hope he heals up. I gave Julie, Julie babies and the little family duck food in the ditch and the ducklings started to dive very funny. Like not actually dive like a duckling but not butt floating either. Cuuute!

Donsje's eye doesn't look much better or worse. And she was limping today (she was fine yesterday). I feel bad because maybe she misstep on one of the bricks I used for her pool stairs

I want to bring this thread back to life! Lol. I've got the best house duck ever! I need recommendations on indoor living facilities for her?? Is there a thread on house duck homes? I'm not sure what to search for or how to word it.
Maybe buy a couple different toys and keep the tags on and then let her pick her fav and return the rest? Mavis (my house duck) is being raised with a toddler and 2 kids so she has an assortment of toys to play with around here. She loves balls, shiney things and dangly things. My mom put her pocketbook on the couch and it had all these gold and silver clips/latches/and dangling chains on it and Mavis went nuts over it!
I got Mavis's diaper from SewSammi on etsy. It was totally custom made. I gave her about 8-10 different measurements and I love it! Mavis is not crazy about it but it works. I would highly recommend it. I have no sewing skills and couldn't even make a sock diaper!

One of those cutesy not-very-practical-for-outside-use rabbit hutches works well... even one of the suler large guinea pig habitat/cages would work since she would really only be sleeping in it... some used a baby gate to just partition off an odd corner or open closet as well...

Here is Gertrude the rescue Mallard! I lubbers my duckie! :3 I'm in the process on making her diaper. She's a brute! She'll bite my Black Labrador's toes in an attempt to get her to drop the mouthful of food, and chase the cat. She thinks it's terribly funny to bite any piece of me, and on Sunday mornings only, she'll chase me around the house. Sunday mornings are very fast paced. She steals or bites through my yarn, usually when I'm in the middle of a crochet project. >,< She's a hoot to have. I'm glad I saved her. She has nineteen bath toys, thanks to my friends and family. LOL.

Any tips on rescuing just one? I found one yesterday and he's a snuggler but I'm worried I can't teach him how to eat and drink and be healthy.

This was my baby, Daisy, taking a walk in the barn (so she could see my other ducks). She was a Welsh Harlequin. When she turned about 6 weeks, she started to become cripple, so she had to become a house duck. A few weeks later she unexpectly passed
