Show off your house ducks!

Winnie isn't going to be a house duck. And is a boy. Winnie and his siblings discovered the ditch and prefer swimming around in the smelly water eating dirty stuff :( I cuddled Winnie today but he wants to be with Ultra Zorro and Mini Me (Mini Me is a girl and actually looks like a Zorro clone ) They go in the ditch in the evening and do not want to be picked up and stay inside for the night.

Zorro is nesting again so that's going to be a problem because she does not want to be locked up even if it saves her children.

Julie is nesting too but I don't know where. Her partner Vleugel is following around Eduard even though she is with Cobra. He is such a poophead cheater! Cobra has bumbles on his foot but doesn't want to be picked up or treated and I don't even know if the "clear iodine" my mum put on the bumbles is the right one. He is the first one to lose his flight feathers and I worry that he will leave after summer if Eduard goes with Vleugel or any other drake.

Donsje is nesting also, her second nest this year, and I am so worried about the grass being mown soon and the babies there is just so much sorrow in a duck's life. Billy is doing well but Junior is still missing.

UGGGH

This is my mallard beaker. I just made him a new diaper. I am not sure if it is because he sees my parakeets do it, but I liked to sit on my shoulder and head like they do!

A few months ago I hatched my first shipped call duck eggs. Unfortunately/fortunately only 1 egg made it to hatch, with my help. And that's when Mavis was born. She has been such a blessing and such an amazing house pet. She is 100% sure she is human and lives in our house with us. I mostly feed her duck crumbles and not many treats and she has zero bad smell. Got lucky there! She learned how to fly out of her "brooder" yesterday and coincidentally her diaper came in the mail yesterday. She was NOT happy about wearing it! It's been on for about a half hour and she seems to be doing better. I keep telling her it's ok and that she has to wear a diaper in the house just like we wear clothes. Will she just get used to it? Any tips? Just give her time with it?

Olive is all grown up now, for the most part it seems! Her first big duck diaper is on order so she's suddenly spending lots of time on my (very easy to wipe clean) desk. Which she loves so much that I am probably going to set up a little cat bed and a feeding + watering station up here because she loves looking out the windows and being at face level with me! Now I know how to give her separate feed from the chickens, too.

She very much likes to chew. Does anyone have any chew toy recommendations? Right now her favorite thing is my headphone cord and that is obviously not ideal. I would take her to a pet shop to pick something out by letting her test it but she's very scared of children. Specifically children. I guess she doesn't recognize them as human! Since it is summer right now I can't just go while school is in session heh.

Oh my gosh she's SO pretty!

I want to bring this thread back to life! Lol. I've got the best house duck ever! ;) I need recommendations on indoor living facilities for her?? Is there a thread on house duck homes? I'm not sure what to search for or how to word it.

Maybe buy a couple different toys and keep the tags on and then let her pick her fav and return the rest? Mavis (my house duck) is being raised with a toddler and 2 kids so she has an assortment of toys to play with around here. She loves balls, shiney things and dangly things. My mom put her pocketbook on the couch and it had all these gold and silver clips/latches/and dangling chains on it and Mavis went nuts over it!
I need a duck diaper for my 3 months old rouen. Any recommendations on brand and size.
I got Mavis's diaper from SewSammi on etsy. It was totally custom made. I gave her about 8-10 different measurements and I love it! Mavis is not crazy about it but it works. I would highly recommend it. I have no sewing skills and couldn't even make a sock diaper!
