I feel that way ALLLL the time. She does not appreciate it lol. She makes this funny HONK sound when you grab/hug her like you squeezed the sour out of her too fast, but we've learned she's just being dramatic lol
Ducky car ride! I love those! ChaCha can't handle being on your lap. She's too fidgety. I know the double take looks well! They are half the fun of ducky car rides! I'm usually busy singing along to my music, so catching a car full of noise less laughing neighbors is my fav. But watching a little kid get so excited that there's a DUCK sticking her head out the car and trying to get their drivers attention is my a close second!

ChaCha has to ride in her carseat. It keeps her buckled in so she can have the window open. I think the nice study box with the close sides is what makes her comfortable in the car. She used to freak out when she sat in my lap.

cuteness all over the place. I want to kiss that crest or poof on top of her head.

Nothing tickles me more than seeing the double-takes other motorists give me at stop lights when they glance over and see a duck peering through the window! 

Eeeeeeeeeeee, ducks in the car and people's reaction. If I am somewhere in America where y'all live and I see any of your ducks and go squeeeingg insanely, just know it's me, Julie from BYC, the only non duck owner who is obsessed with ducks but is harmless nonetheless and I drive a Toyota fj cruiser that is the same color as Wobbles and ChaCha.

Road trip to Rancher's place to pick up eggs. The babies did a 4 hour round trip run like little champs! (And got up way too early considering they were up past their bedtime!)

"Where are we going now mommy?"

My daughter was driving on the way out, so they got a chance to be shoulder ducks

Neither shoulder was safe...

Best moment of the day out was when my daughter pulled into the bank and a guy headed into the car next to us. It took him a second to register that I had a lap full of ducklings as he passed, but when he realized what they were he did the most spectacular double take I have ever seen. We didn't stop laughing for a while after that....

AHHhh he's so cute! Ok. Those diapers are TINY and they look HUGE on him! I'm in complete awe of his miniatureness! Let me know how the poopn cup works for him, i want to make him a smaller diaper that n looks more size appropriate lol but i don't want him to overflow it and spew everywhere... ChaCha did that when I first got her because Trina's old diapers were too big. It's gross lol

Finally got some photos of your new diapers, Kukupecpec! Sorry for the bad quality, he's very wiggly and the lighting is terrible.

I think I just ODed on cute, between ChaCha in her basket and Wobbles with his little diaper! I just want to spend the rest of my day cuddling ducks instead of boring stuff like editing a really nasty letter a friend wrote so that it is not so insanely caustic, fixing the aviary roof, chasing a loose pheasant hen (my daughter assured me the netting was fine, but after 5 minutes of the cock's incessant displaying, she found the hole my daughter missed and escaped again...), and moving the adult saxony ducks back outside... (Yes, I stole 2 more babies for the moment, but they are still so small they can slip through the stock fence around the perimeter of the property, and the nesting geese want no other babies around... I can justify my theft!!)

I am a psychiatrist, I'm totally used to having people drop problems in my lap, so I rewrote the letter using my knowledge of the roommate's history and behavior patterns, so that the letter was venom free and very understanding, but remained firm that he had to leave. If he were a patient, I could have charged him a ridiculous amount of money for me to steer him in the correct direction as far as writing the letter went, and would never have to see it or touch it myself. I'm everybody's mother, from baby birds, to my 84 year old mother with dementia, to my nearly 58 year old friend with the disrespectful housemate, so I end up mitigating a lot of potential social disasters...
Penny the pheasant still hasn't returned, despite her mate calling for her all day. She will likely be back in a few days if the ground stays mostly covered, because there is food here... My husband tried to console the cock: "For the effort we are putting into her, we could raise up another 50 just like her for you! You are better off without her!" Yeah, even the pheasant cock is getting therapy...
