Ya all the animals love her. She comes to me to. She isn't forced to be out side because when she quiacks at the steps i take her inside she just has a pond outside. hopefully we get a duck soon tho
There is nothing worse than broody duck poop! It's like someone put a half stick of dynamite in a set Prix tank!!! Hopefully now that mama duck has her ducklings she will settle out and not be quite so explosive..... I feel your pain (as does the tile in my bathroom!!) ThereUpdate on Misty: She is full on broody and has become a terror! For the first time in four months I can't feel an egg in her! But she is so hormonal and cranky! Her nest is in my bedroom and every time I look at her she opens her mouth at me, fluffs up and quacks, she'll bite if I come close. She comes off the nest about once a day to eat, bathe, terrorize us... and POOP! OMG I've never seen (or smelled) something so BIG and nasty come out of her! She can clear the entire house in seconds! I can't wait for this to be over and I have my Misty back, she's like a completely different duck now! Here is the little cute monster!![]()
Aww broody ducky! That is one serious nest! So cool! And yes... broody poop is HORRIBLE. I had a broody chicken living in my room once and i can't even imagine attempting that with a Duck! OK. You all need to send me some hormone vibes! I would love ChaCha to brood some eggs for me! I collected eggs this morning from my chickens, and this evening when i closed their coop there was a mini egg for EVERY SINGLE SERAMA. These girls are pumping them out and i have no room in my incubator! Lol i could really use a nice big fluffy broody ChaCha hahahaAww, she's not all on her lonesome, is she? And congrats with Misty! I think it's just a fact of life that no matter the gender our house ducks get difficult during the breeding season!![]()
