I am soooo jealous. Wow. Mmmmmm, endorphins, dopamine. Fuzzy ducklets. Mmmmmmm.

They adore him. The day I took him to the hospital he came out into the family room and lay down on the blankets looking miserable. They immediately ran over and piled onto him, they pressed up against him and curled up in his hands until he eventually got up again. Today they watched him play Battlefield 4. Perfect, of course, had to hop into his lap...
I'm kinda tickled that everyone in those pictures is blond..

Oh, so sweet. What I find amazing is these little ducks of yours get so much pleasure themselves out of being snuggly and close with your husband. They obviously have feelings of affection and closeness. Other than their cuteness that's what makes them so endearing.

I swear I'm making my former boss' hair prematurely grey..."Hey Ann, sugar-free maple syrup isn't toxic to birds, is it? Yeah...no, waffles this time...No, he got up on the table...yes, he was in his crate..."

elaborate more please because I know this will be funny. How did he get up on the table and out of his crate? Where were you when this happened? Did he splatter it all over the place? But please know that I won't find any amusement in this if he was affected adversely by the syrup. It is just that he is a little dickens who pokes his bill in ranch dressing and then splatters it all over the place.

Thank you for the Wobbles fix! (We need more pictures too - you can never have too many Wobbles pictures!)

No he's fine, just poor Ann, I could practically hear her palm smack her forehead, LOL! I'm alone during the day, so I take him downstairs in a crate and plunk him in the kitchen with a baby divider while I cook so he can't get at the cat food, and likewise the cats can't get at him. But apparently he's mastered the art of taking off from a fixed spot...before he could only do it with a bit of a start. Lucky me. But she asked "Is this the pancake incident again?" 'Cuz before he got into the pancake batter and gobbled up some butter just for good measure, and I had to call in late because I had to wash him thoroughly. And the counter. And floors. And me.

And YES, he still has a thing for ranch dressing! Why? Why ranch? How can that possibly taste good on its own?! Is this what it's like to raise a young son, because every time I talk to my sister she's all yup...that's Owen. (Owen = my 2-year old nephew)

That visual is wonderful! And it is totally like having a small child! (only he will never ask you for money, and you will have 100% say in who he dates!)

Unbelievable, all of it from the butter to hopping out of the crate. He has no boundaries nor does he care. And although it's all there for you to clean up, you cannot not see the charm in it. He's an opportunist. I mean, what 20 oz bird wreaks that much havoc in the kitchen or elsewhere?
