Show off your house ducks!

Misty isn't into snuggling unfortunately. I think she's just a little more independent than most house ducks though. Although she is pretty quiet, surprisingly. She only ever quacks if she doesn't know where I am. She is a very sassy little duck that doesn't take crap form no one! Chases the cat around, nips the dogs toes, hisses at my rats through their cage, my snake is about the only thing she won't mess with! She even swam up to a wild mallard and started fighting with her, she is no longer allowed to swim without a leash!

So in other words. Misty is kind of like the Ellen Ripley of the bird world.

Oh man, any chance you can get a video of Mr. Quail strutting around in front of his giant dogloo? That's simply priceless! 

He's probably in full swing now with the breeding season beginning! I'll have to look, I may have a picture of his tiny, sassy little behind in there!

Down to the wire...the eggs are supposed to pip tomorrow! What'll I do if Wobbles is hostile? I mean, I KNOW what I have to do, I just really hope it doesn't come to that. He gets so depressed if I have to separate him. :/

Be rough with him like a duck does when the drake steps out of his line. She grabs on his neck and chases him... Maybe try that?
