Show off your house ducks!

oh my goodness how old are they now and they are still quite adorable how personal are they with you

They are 7 weeks now, they are my babies and I'm mama, I spend a lot of time with them, they both love on me and cuddle they come running when they see me or my husband, and quack/chirp loudly when they hear our voices in the morning to let them out to eat and swim. Favorite thing in the world is feeder fishies in their pool lol

as much time as we spent with our dogs they still run from us they come up to us when we have treats and let his pet them but they still like to run from us and you know we're still working on it a little bit more to get them to like us a little better the more treats easier it is of course and you say you use feeder fish feeder fish for them because the gold fish type can carry a lot of diseases I heard about Minho's though any suggestions

I buy minnows from the bait shop for them a dozen at a time... Takes them all of about 2 mins to eat them all in clear water... Have learned to put them in murkier water the ducks have already dirtied up a little bit... Makes my ducks have to hunt for them and slows them down a little

couple of questions, how often do you give your ducks minnows, and can you breed them yourself if so do you know how you can private message me if you don't want to litter the thread

I usually give them minnows about once or twice a week I'll pm you too

I think he knows that when I come out I usually and there to take him inside and he knows he gets special treats. and I don't keep him in any longer than he wants to he'll start packing me more than lovable so to speak to let me know that he wants to go back out with his friends. it's so adorable when I take him outside they all swarm around him and miss him and poking him to try to find out where he's been for the past couple of hours I'll have to take some video sometime and figure out how to post it on here.and I plan on cuddling him as long as he likes me

Awww. I'd keep spoiling him to keep him cuddly.  I hear sometimes ducks as they mature aren't as cuddly.  But how can you have them and not get to cuddle them when they are so soft and cute?  I think it's funny he pushes the others out of the way to get to you.

Awww so cute!! My Pekin (definitely a duck) started quacking around 4-5 weeks. My Cayuga (I'm thinking drake) still isn't quacking, he still sounds like a baby but is getting a bit of a rasp sometimes.

my 5 week old grey feather quacks very very hoarsely sometimes. I can't really tell if its developing or a male. Out of the rest of my flock they all still peeping. why 6 week old teachings still don't have the slightest. I'm very very jealous of you all! it would be really nice to know so that it matters I would love them just the same
