Show off your house ducks!

Beanosaurus Rex, haaaaaaa! Or how about Nyan Cat? Not sure how that'd work...but it could be fun to try! Oh also Scovy, I do have one recent photo. It's my friend Annie giving her a big wet kiss while she was being boarded last week :p
I love love love the Bean's cute face. Exquisite coloring and so unique.

my peckins love to kiss

Sadlyx no baby duckies for ChaCha. Two of the the eggs hatched - I thought the first one was an accident, but ChaCha definitely killed the second one! She was furious that that strange thing was in her nest! Very protective of the eggs, but she didn't understand what came out of them - being human and all. So sad

There are a lot of sad things in this world, but the sight of a dead duckling is an instant heart-breaker. All that time incubating and then the long struggle to get out- just to die a few moments later is so tragic!

Yes, it is. There are still times I cry about it when it happens, and you'd think I'd be way past that by now.

Yeah...it's been five months, and I still cry sometimes over Milkshake. :/ These are our babies, you know? But since they're just so delicate, and we all get heavy into maternal mode during the incubation/hatching process, I think it hits us harder than other pet losses would.

At a little over four months, I'm trying to think of when Bean's gonna lay her first egg. How old were your girls when they began laying? I know it's different for calls but I wanted some perspective on what I should expect when Bean's finally all grown up <3
