I'm so jealous. I wonder if any of my local animal charities would allow ducks at the office...?
 
HNNNG I just need to work! It's so hard to find jobs in the vet field it seems...I feel kinda useless, you know? I love my babies but they make it impossible to get a job, even in my old career :/

No I feel ya. I may work but I haven't had a vacay in forever, I don't even take day-cations unless I have someone stay at my house. I don't like being gone longer than a couple of hours.

There's just too many feathered & furry things that I live with that depend on me not being gone long. At least that's what I tell myself. They probably wait for me to leave so they can party or raid the fridge or something.

Worse - pancake batter! He was much littler and I'd put him up on the countertop cuz he kept peeping, he didn't realize yet that feet = people. I swear I only turned away for five seconds to flip the pancake, and by time I turned back, he'd stuck his head in, decided he didn't like it and shook his head, splattering batter over a 5 foot radius.

We don't put ducks on counters anymore.
