Yes, she got the hormonal freckles quickly! Just a month ago she was merely speckled now she is covered!

LOL. That actually startled me. I'm so used to Calls that I often look at other breeds and my first thought is, "Man, that thing has a really big freaking nose."

HA. I know her sniffer is rather large but, she's still adorable.

I think she's adorable. It's just in what you get used to that you have have this initial, "Wow, that's a big nose!" reaction. It's the same for me with cats. I used to breed Persians and they're the only type of cat I've ever owned. To me, every cat other than a Persian looks like it has a really big nose.

Actually, when I see photos of Call ducks, I think where is their beak?? Can they smell?

I just don't see why you can't keep both, is all ._. 'Cuz like I said above, it's not a guarantee lil' Dandy will bond with your chikkinz. 

Also, something dreadful happened last night - Wobbles accidentally spent ALL NIGHT with his diaper on! His last change was at 7:00 PM so that means he went 12 hours...oh dear. Hils was supposed to remove it, I got Bean this time and he was s'posed to get Wobbles! 

At least it did give me some confidence about letting them sleep on the bed. His diaper was very full, but it didn't spill. Judging by the amount of poop left in their bins each morning, I think tonight I'll take the plunge, change them at bedtime and let them snuggle up with me tonight!

Dandy isn't too fond of Dahlia, she picks on her whenever they've met & Dahlia is a delicate little flower She would be happier being more of an indoor/outdoor duck & although I take her outside when I garden & as often as I can, the neighborhood I'm in just isn't a place I trust to build her an outdoor area. If I was already moved like I'd like, then Dahlia would definitely stay with me. I don't particularly want her gone but it would be best when I can't give her the life of a safe yard like she deserves.

I had made an extra deep & wet proof diaper for Daisy just to wear at night & she got a powdered butt & thick pad liners in the diaper & would sleep on the bed at night with me on her blankie! She loved it & it's great bonding to watch TV or read then crash out with the Ducky & 5 dogs & cat all asleep on the bed. As soon as Dandy River slows down on the growing I can make an extra deep one so she can stay all night with us all on the bed. I'm also wanting to order a pretty going-out one from Kukupecpec when this bird is done growing. Right now she's so big & heavy & still doesn't have all the feathers grown in yet!
