It's so true!!! IT's like if you took a pekin, gave them a tiny beak and smooched them into a bread loaf pan.
Weeeeeeey you are so right. Little Calls have the round ball factor going strong. Kiss that webbed ball. Why, yes, I think I will. It's cause they're tiny and schmooshed up. Big ducks are all stretched out and calls are balls. Little pocket sized portables.
They'd shrinky into a koot lil stubber duck of plump softness. Although I do love the big ducks lots and lots. It's so true!!! IT's like if you took a pekin, gave them a tiny beak and smooched them into a bread loaf pan.
16 minutes.& then how long do you bake for at 375?
16 minutes.
Eeeeeeeeeeeeee, and there ya have it. A fresh soft roundness of warmth with webbed feets and an attitude that is something I would cherish and spoil for years. Here's my great-grandmother's recipe for fresh baked Call Duck! You will need:
- 1 egg
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 c sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup butter
- 5-6 tbsp whole milk
- pinch of salt
- round loaf pan (the smaller the better)
- 1 duck
Mix wet ingredients, add dry. Knead duck. Form into adorable duck loaf. Be sure to soak the feathers with the milk, otherwise it will not shrink enough while baking! Place into round pan; be sure duck fills it out for maximum roundness. Bake for 16-18 minutes or until quacks become noticeably higher-pitched. Allow to rest for ten minuets, then turn out from pan. Feed peas immediately.
hahaha. U probably thought we were nuts for a minute.I just about felt faint before I caught on, here.![]()
