They do seem like great indoor dwellers, I was hoping it would be okay like how my ducky is taking to it.

He's doing very well!

He learned to perch yesterday!

& loves laying on his back & getting tummy scrubs! He falls asleep a lot this way.

He has feathers that are curling up on his wing-dings so I don't know if that is what a frizzy looks like when it's a baby but it's cute.

He likes taking naps with me when I get home

I love the idea of super hero's capes! I'd love a Darkwing Duck on a Pekin!

I'm trying to convince my parents to let me bring one of my Muscovy males home with me ( they live over at my grandmothers so I have to go over there everyday and take care of them) his name is Indie and he is all by himself since well, he's really aggressive around other males and has been like that all his life, ( he broke his wing fighting

) and all the other males are pretty chill with each other and Rarely fight, I've had Indie since 7th or 8th grade, he's been in a pen pretty much his whole life, ( it's actually an open air dog kennel with chicken wire on the top and the sides, it's right under a tree so he technically has a roof since it's so thick, and it's safe to and I of course make sure he has enough vitamins and mineral even though he gets enough from how much space he has to in a way 'free range' in the kennel, it's pretty big) anyway he's so loving towards people and well anything but other male Muscovies so I really want to take him home but I have a few questions

How often do u change the diaper?

How well do your ducks get along with cats? If u have them

Hi Buck, I know you love your muscovy & you'll love one in the house close to you.
I used to change Daisy's diaper about every 2-3 hours. Dandy is about every half hour

so it will depend how much Indie eats or drinks or if he's like Dandy & just a proficient pooer!

My cat got along great with Daisy but Dandy is a little moody so she (the cat) tends to steer clear of this duck. It's just like any new animal, though. Never leave them alone with access to each other & be patient introducing them to one another. It take time but you eventually get happy pets from all sides & you get to enjoy them all at once instead of separately.

I make mine but I want to get a pretty one from @kukupecpec soon. I don't sew so well so I should get a "going out in public & not embarrassing the scovy" one.
