Aww I'm sorry! My pot bellied pig is my baby! If someone was to even touch Penelope I would get mad! Penelope has my 7 cats to keep her company during the day, and right now she is at a pig daycare place while her pen is being redone

That's cool. That was what my next suggestion for others who have to work or be away for long periods. A daycare center for animals. My dogs go to the vet daycare when I am away. They have also temp cared for my pigs and rabbits. Not current rabbits . These was many years ago.

I tried to start a business doing exotic daycare, but no one ever called. :/

Guys, I feel so bad...I just got home from the emergency vet. Wobbles is okay, but he hurt his bill. AGAIN. I don't know what happened, I went out to the pharmacy and when I came home he was splattered in blood and he'd hurt his nail again! Oh, my poor guy...

No, he kind of shys away from physical contact right now, but we'll see how he is once his pain meds kick in. I just gave them to him a few minutes ago. :/ I feel so terrible...I just have no clue how he hurt his bill again! I checked every surface in the house, I can't find blood anywhere. He must have gotten it stuck somewhere sharp, but I just can't figure out where. So of course I'm beyond paranoid that it'll happen again. Oh, my poor baby... sigh. At least he'll get all the apples and watermelon his tiny heart desires until he's feeling better again!

guys, I'm worried about Wobbles - he hasn't eaten since he got home and he's really lethargic. I called the vet, she said to keep an eye out and come on in if I'm worried. Frankly I am, nut I just don't have enough for another emergency bet visit! I'm so not sleeping tonight. I'm gettin' coffee and watching him like a hawk.

Try to give him fluids. Like you would a baby. Maybe bottle feed him or syringe feed him yousing the mother nipples for a baby animal. Or ivs fluids. If there like chickens they get depressed quickly. I don't know how old he is but don't wait he needs fluids. If he doesn't eat by morning I would get ivs in him.

Wondering if it's his reaction to the pain meds, or if, like some people, he's just reeling from the experience and needs a rest and a reset.
