It's official! After six months of trying, Wobbles and Bean have been cleared for import into the UK!! <3 We're finally going to be together again!

Hey Ya'll! I just recently acquired a baby muscovy duckling, mom abandoned him. I have had him for about a week now and he is doing really good, I was worried he wouldn't last being he is really young but he's a fighter! my problem now is, can I house-train/house-raise a duck and if so, how do I do so without my place smelling like a barn? lol He is currently in a makeshift little pen on my moms back porch but he can't stay there. My apartment has no backyard but I will be moving into a house soon that will have a yard I can keep him in. So how do I make do in the meantime??? Any ideas are much appreciated!!! I have had chickens before but those were strictly outside animals and I had alot of land for them!

If he's the only one, it's best to keep him as a house duck. He's scones to you, and will be unhappy outside all alone! You can't potty train a duck, but you can buy diapers for them. I buy mine from sew Sammi.com, she's the best!

I have ordered three little ladies from Metzer, due July 6th and we're in the process of building their brooder/indoor pen. I'm beyond excited for my baby fuzzbutts and will posts pics as soon as they arrive.

So I finally got my ducklings yesterday. All three were healthy and perky. They've even shown themselves to already have very different personalities to go with their different looks. They've got a mild imprint, not so much on me or humans so much as anything bigger than them much to the horror of the two cats they chased from one room to another.

I've got Artemis (the Cayuga), the feisty independent leader with no fear. Where she goes the others are right behind her even when escaping. She has a tiny arrow shape under her chin.

Then there is Selene (Blue Swedish), she's the biggest of the three and a bit of a bully at times. She also spooks the easiest.

Then there is Luna Lilly aka Lulu pad (Welsh Harlequin). She is the smallest and the sweetest. She is the least independent and hates being alone for even a second.
